Empower Academy needs additional computers for our computer lab. Computer training is essential in today's job market and we want to ensure that all our students are capable of using a computer before they enter high school.
Parents, students, and faculty at Empower Academy have requested a new school bus. Every day many Empower Academy students are sent to school in taxi. A school bus would enable more students to attend the school at a more affordable price.
Students at Empower Academy want to develop their artistic and creative talents. New art supplies will allow us to create an art lab and enable our teachers to begin incorporating art into the curriculum.
Many of Empower Academy's students love to study science. Our teachers and students have requested a science lab to enable them to better explore scientific concepts more interactively.
Festivals in Nkawkaw often showcase the musical capabilities of local school children. The students at Empower Academy do not have access to a music program. With your help we can provide students with access to musical instruments so they can show their pride in their school through music!

9/19/99 -Augustine Amankwah, Richard Koomson, and Eric Orlando in conjunction with AEF have become the new directors and managers of Empower Academy.
9/19/99 -AEF’s US directors will be coming to visit the school to meet with students, teachers, and parents.
